Creativity Journal

365bookNoah Scalin’s 365 A Daily Creativity Journal helped get me started on Drawing Pins.

“The point of this book is to put as many tools and as much inspiration into your hands as possible so that you have no excuse but to get started on your own daily project.”

Rather then embark on a daily 365 project, I utilized Scalin’s project ideas on the days when I hesitated to creatively act (sans-software), which happened a lot in the beginning of the journey. The dismantling and reconstruction of a habit is easy to over-think and thus bog down progress. A creativity journal is such a great resource because it not only provides the support and framework for experimentation, it also helps strip the intimidation factor out of sharing your ideas.

The following is a gallery of projects inspired from the creativity journal.
